Passion for the two wheeled alternative

Reason for:

Awhile back my bike was laid down by some friends causing fairing damage on the left and center pieces. The damage was reversed with the purchase of replacement parts, fairings alone totaled $900+.

A couple of years later a wild hog decided to head-butt my oncoming motorcycle damaging the left fairing (again) and taking out the foot controls on its way by, leaving me incapable of shifting gears. Luckily, well for one I didn’t die, but no I was fortunate that the incident happen only a mile or so from home. The major feat being getting home without stalling the bike, for Kawasaki has this annoying requirement of needing to be physical in neutral to start up, pulling clutch isn’t enough.

Body Modification

Unlike before I held responsibility for flipping the bill, damn hog didn’t have insurance. Bummed about the damage I devised a repair plan. Being compelled to save the smashed up fairings from before I compared the two left fairings and took note that even though each had damage, the damages occurred in different areas. I decided to cut the two fairing pieces in half and fuse the undamaged pieces together. Shoot inspired by some chucky-like reincarnation thing, makes for a good reason to slap some more chrome on the bike.
even left some hog hair infused in the plastic.
